Many rooms have no neutral wire in the switch box, making standard smart switch installation impossible. When a location has no wiring at all, we install wireless battery-powered switches such as Lutron Pico remotes or Z-Wave remotes that pair with a smart dimmer or relay installed at the fixture — no wall fishing required, no damage to your plaster walls. When adding a switch for new lights across the room, we wire a master switch or relay next to the new fixture — sometimes concealed inside the outlet box or junction box — and pair it with a wireless switch at the desired location. This gives you full smart control without running wire across the room.

We take extra care in older buildings and finished spaces. Our goal is always to minimize damage to plaster walls, tile, and historic finishes. We use low-voltage wireless systems, fish existing conduit where possible, and always discuss the least invasive approach before starting any work.
