1
What Are the Signs of Burnt Electrical Outlets?

Injuries caused by faulty electrical outlets are treated in emergency rooms every year by over 4,000 people. Make sure no one in your family is hurt by an electrical accident. An outlet receptacle in your Park Slope home should be inspected properly to prevent electrical fires and related injuries.  Below are some warning signs that your house is experiencing an electrical problem.

2
Flickering lights: Why do they happen?

Do your lights flicker all the time or only some of them? This can happen because of a faulty light bulb, but sometimes something more dangerous can be the cause. From the electricians at Asset Electric in Park Sope, Brooklyn, learn the reasons why your lights may be flickering.

3
Do I have to hire an electrician to repair my electrical system?

Homeowners are prone to noticing electrical problems immediately. It is possible for any handyman to fix this on their own without any problems. The problem is there isn’t a way around it. The work shouldn’t be performed by handymen. Obtaining a license requires the electrician to undergo a lengthy training process. Licenses may appear to be meaningless pieces of paper, but they contain important information that could save your life.

4
The light switch on my wall is hot. Why?

Your light switch becomes hot to the touch when you reach out to turn it off. It indicates that there is something serious lurking behind your walls, and this is not a normal thing to see. An electrical fire in your home can be dangerous if you don’t get help right away.

5
The cause of a tripped circuit breaker can be determined through the following methods.

If you live in Park Slope, Brooklyn, you probably experience more power outages than usual during the summer and winter.   During these holidays and seasons, Asset Brooklyn Electric’s experts are often contacted for assistance.   The easiest way to identify the problem is by checking the circuit breaker box. Most people just flip the switches that are out of alignment to get everything working again because there are so many switches that it is nearly impossible to guess which one is connected to which appliance. This does not always fix the problem, but it does help.

    Licensing & Insurance

A good electrician should ensure that your family and you are protected. Unless they do, you could face the consequences. It is possible for the plumber to neglect his duties and damage your house. It will be your responsibility to fix the problem if the electrician isn’t licensed and insured.

There are likely to be no more appointments with the electrician because you will need to pay out of pocket to fix the issue. Please contact us for assistance. All of our employees are licensed and insured.

Our goal is to resolve any problems you encounter. Let us know if anything goes wrong and we will try to correct it. You can count on our insurance carrier to pay for any damages in your home. We won’t make you cover up anything because it wasn’t your fault.

    A perfect track record

If you’re looking for an electrician, you should choose one with a great track record. There is a high probability that you will create problems for yourself if you choose someone who has experienced issues in the past numerous times. It is for this reason that we recommend that you hire us.

Our customers are always our top priority. The first thing we’ll do if something goes amiss is admit our fault and fix the problem as quickly as possible. In order to meet your expectations, we’re prepared to make every effort. Nonetheless, we maintained a spotless record over the years.

We live up to our reputation. We can connect you with a few of our clients. Several references will be provided to you so that you may know what our customers have to say. We have done the best we can for our clients so we know they’re going to give us a good recommendation.

    Continuing Education and Recertifying

Whatever type of installation you face, whether it’s recessed lighting or a fan installation, things change from year to year. The fact that our electrician techs are required to undergo reaccreditation and continuing education every year is only one cause of their re-certification.

As a result of the access to new repair technology and troubleshooting techniques, our electricians are able to manage electrical problems more efficiently and effectively than anyone else. Electric Troubleshooting and Installation is one of our core beliefs.

    Contracts with guarantees

With our Park Slope offices, we do not force our clients into lengthy contracts. Our goal is to make the process of installing an electric outlet or buff as easy as possible for you. It is also extremely important to us that the experience is enjoyable for you.

We guarantee affordable rates and quality work to our clients because of this. The cost of electrical work is often quoted by a residential electrician, then they complete the job and then hand you a huge bill you have no choice but to pay.

Those electricians in your area do not believe in this. For us, it’s all about being fair, transparent, and open.

In our contracts, we specify our prices. We will give you an exact price estimate when we come out and estimate the work. There is no additional charge.

Our lighting services include repairing ceiling lights, porch lighting, chandeliers, and garage lighting

However, this does not mean that homeowners need to delay taking action when confronted with lighting issues. Damaged electrical cables and tripped circuit breakers are typically the cause of lighting problems.

Diagnostics and repairs should be made as soon as possible to address the underlying problem. An outlet repair should be possible on-site within the first couple of hours if the issue is a simple one, such as a malfunctioning receptacle.

A plumber will schedule you an appointment for a panel update if the problem is caused by a damaged electric panel. Search using Park Slope electric contracting in Google to locate us online. Park Slope NY electricians will be listed in the results.

Please contact us if you need help diagnosing your lighting issue. After a detailed diagnosis of your electric panel, circuit breakers, and changes and sockets has been completed, they’ll craft a repair plan.

    About Park Slope

Park Slope is a neighborhood located in the area of Brooklyn that was formerly known as South Brooklyn, in northwestern New York City. Its boundaries are roughly drawn along Prospect Park east and Prospect Park west to the west, Fourth Avenue to the north, and Flatbush Avenue to the south. A general division of the neighborhood into three sections is based on its name: the “North Slope” along Flatbush Avenue and Garfield Place (called the “named streets”), the “Center Slope” along 1st and 9th Streets, and the “South Slope” south of 10th Street. Located on the western slope of Prospect Park, the neighborhood is named for its location. The streets that line its east and west sides are lined with brownstones and apartment buildings, and Fifth Avenue and Seventh Avenue are its principal commercial streets.

It has been known since the 17th century that Lenape settled in Park Slope before Europeans arrived. In the early 19th century, the land was mostly farmland and forests, until it was subdivided into rectangular parcels. Located near the industrial Gowanus Canal and ferries, the western section of the neighborhood was occupied in the mid-19th century. Park Slope’s eastern section was developed after Prospect Park was finished in the 1880s with many mansions and rowhouses. After the mid-20th century was marked by social decline and infrastructural decline, the building stock of Park Slope was improved as the neighborhood became gentrified. Park Slope Historic District covers much of the neighborhood in addition to a National Historic District.
